So we rounded our visit to Rome with a visit to the Vatican. This is indeed the FIRST mega church, but it is beautiful!
We were supposed to see the Sistine Chapel, but it was closed that day, so our guide got us in to go up the Dome (328 steps). The view was fantastic, and a real highlight of the trip!
